The Second Coming of Christ

Will it really be silent and no one will see it? Will everyone dissappear in thin are as mentioned in the Left Behind movies and in "The Moment After" and of course taken for granted in the movie "Six: The Mark Unleashed" 666?

The Bible is simple and clear. But many have twisted it's meanings.

What does the Bible teach in regards to the Second Coming of Christ?

Act 1:9 And when he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
Act 1:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Act 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

OK. Here are the clear principles given by the Bible.

• First we can see that Christ was "taken up and a cloud receive Him out of their sight". He just didn't vanish but Jesus ascended and received in the clouds. (verse 9)
  
• Second important point is that as Christ ascended they all looked up until they could see him no more (why else would they be looking up)

• Third crucial point. Verse 10 says "shall so come in like manner" as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Now this is very important to undersanding the Second Coming. Because the disciples SAW Christ ascend he didn't just vanish. And those two men in white apparel are saying clearly that Jesus will return the same way! Which way? The Same way He Left!

In other words, Jesus will come VISIBLY and not SECRETLY. And we shall SEE HIM as the disciples saw Him when He ascended.

Check out this text in Revelation 1:7:

Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Does that seem secret to you? I don't think so. Okay. Let's go to Matthew 24 where Christ Himself talks about His coming and see what He has to say about His own coming:

1. Mat 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. When there is lightning every one sees it. See how the text is emphasizing the "shining" of the lightning and not the noise. It says that as the lightning "shineth" in the same way Christ coming will shine all over the world and every one will see Him.
2. Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
   Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
   

Wow! That sound very visible to me. All the tribes shall mourn when Christ comes. Christ will come with great glory and there shall be a great sound of a trumpet. NO ONE WHO BELIEVES IN THE RAPTURE EVER SAYS THAT! THEY SAY IT'S SECRET!

I'll come to chapter 24 of Matthew later on since there are a few texts that some have misinterpreted there.

Let's check out what Paul says about the matter:

1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep .
1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

What points does these verses present? Do they favor a secret rapture? NO NO NO NO.

It does talk about a rapture but it is a "public" rapture. One that happens when Christ comes in the air. Does these verses say anything about Christ coming secretly? NO NO NO. Let's see.

1. verse 16 Christ comes with a "shout", "with a trumpet of God". Doesn't sound silent to me. Never heard of a "silent" Shout!
2. verse 16 the "dead in Christ rise first". There is a resurrection when Christ comes.
3. verse 17 it is at this time that we are "caught up" or as the greek says "harpazo" which means caught up. But it doesn't happen secretly it happens at the moment of Christ's Glorious coming.
   

No secret rapture is mentioned in these texts.

Six: The Mark Unleashed 666 Part IV: The Tribulation

The Truth About the Rapture and Christ's True Second Coming

Note: Please read all the previous posts before reading this one. that way you'll get the complete thrust of this blog.
The whole purpose of the movie is to show the prophetic events that will take place in the future following the rapture. This is based on what many christians believe to be the pre-tribulation theory. John Darby was the proponent in the 1820's and the concept has be popularized by others such as Hal Lindsey, Scoffield - the author of the Scoffield's Bible, and in these "last days" by Tim La Haye. But what many do not know is that this theory was a pre-meditated attack initiated by the counter-reformation with the purpose to deviate the minds from the real Antichrist to an imaginary and mysterious antichrist that will come in the future. Protestants in a whole have swallowed this deception "hook line and sinker"( with the exception of a little group of churches who have maintained their protestant roots).

Truth:

There will be a future tribulation that will be "as never was before".
Mat 24:21 "for then shall be great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be. "

If we read Matthew 24 leaving out all pre-conceptions we can get a clear understanding of what this tribulation is and some of the things that will happen.

During this time real christians will be thrown into prison because of their faith and many will be killed:

Mat 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up unto tribulation, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all the nations for my name's sake.

One of the methods of destroying the saints is also mentioned in the Bible:

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as worshipped not the beast, neither his image, and received not the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

So you can see that these things mentioned in the movie are in fact in the Bible.

False

The problem is when will the tribulation take place? Will there be a rapture to precede it? Is the rapture really Christ's second coming? Will the church, the "faithful" go thru the tribulation?

These questions need to be answered with the Bible to really understand what it really teaches.
So I am going to concentrate on answering in this post the following questions: Will there be a rapture? and Is the rapture really Christ's second coming?




I recommend you see the whole seven part series of this video. I have included them in this post so stick around. I'll place a video in between comments.

I'm only going to use the Bible as my source of info in this post. You'll be surprised how clear it speaks to us today. I recommend you clear your mind of any prior belief so the Bible can speak to you. Well anyway, I'm going to try and not make this post too long. I'll separate this post in to other posts if necessary. Actually, this post has already gotten a little too big so check the next post to continue in this evaluation of the rapture from the movie Six: The Mark Unleashed.

The Mark Unleashed 666 - Part III

Truth

The Antichrist that will reign in the future will elevate himself in the place of God. That the whole world shall follow him-except a small group of faithful Christians who only worship God.

False

That the antichrist is an unknown man in the future that will rise and that will control the the world for 7 years. That he is mainly a political figure that enters the arena of religion like the emperors of Rome did in the past.

The Bible not only says there will be an antichrist but it also gives us the following details:

• Where he will rise from
• Who he is
• That he has been in the world for a long time
• That he comes from a religious movement and not solely political

Where He Will Rise From

I believe Paul answers this question very clearly. Listen to what he has to say:

2Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
2Th 2:5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
2Th 2:6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
2Th 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
2Th 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

The antichrist is said to have "fallen away" which is another expression for having committed apostasy which means "to leave the truth". He is also called the "son of perdition". This term is only used two times in the Bible. One here referring to the Antichrist and the other in reference to Judas - who betrayed our Lord Jesus Christ. Here is the other text:

Joh 17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

Judas was highly honored as a disciple of Christ. But he loved money more so he betrayed the Lord.

The antichrist is the leader of a professed christian movement that has betrayed the Lord and who's leader has placed himself in place of the Lord.

Do you really want to know who is Antichrist? Since those who have viewed this movie are mainly "protestants" I'll tell you this:

Just ask our forefathers from the protestant reformation and they will tell you who is the Antichrist. Taken from Wikipedia under the topic "Antichrist" and found in any encyclopedia:

"Many Protestant reformers, including Martin Luther, John Calvin, Thomas Crammer, John Knox, Cotton Mather, and John Wesley identified the Roman Papacy as the Antichrist."

He fulfils all of Bible Prophecy requirements as the antichrist.

Rev 13:3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

The Papacy reigned for 1260 years. From 538 to 1798 when he was dethroned by general Berthier of Napoleon's army. This was the "deadly wound". But it is prophecied in the Bible that this deadly wound will be "healed". Meaning that he will control the world again and place himself in the place of God.

Unfortunately, most of the protestant world is following after him and have rejected the protestant reformation position that was based in the Bible.

The Mark Unleashed 666 - Part II

If you have not read the first post please do. You will not understand this post unless you do. This is part II of The Mark Unleashed 666 - What's True and What's False

I am going to continue following the same format. Will present what is True in the movie and what is false.

Truth

Those who serve and Love God don't have to fear the future or what God's enemies will do to them. Because God has promised eternal life. And God's promises are true.

Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Rom 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adop tion, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

2Ti 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

False

That man as soon as he dies goes to heaven. That those who are martyred immediately go to heaven.

But the Bible teaches that those who die lose total consciousness and are not aware of what is happening here on earth let alone in heaven.

Ecc 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.

Ecc 9:6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neithe r have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.

Death is like a sleep. Jesus himself said it referring to the death of Lazarus:

Joh 11:11 These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.

Joh 11:12 Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.

Joh 11:13 Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.

Joh 11:14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.

The Bible teach e s that when we die we all go to the grave. Wicked and Just go to the grave. The difference is in the r esurrection. Those who die in Christ will come tot he resurrection of the just while the wicked in the resurrection of damnation.

Here is the Bible text that talks about the resurrection of the just and when does it happen:

1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

1Th 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1Th 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

As you may see here, Paul also refers to those who are dead in Christ as asleep. When do we join the Lord to be with Him forever? At His second coming-not before. It says that the "dead in Christ shall rise first"! Why first? Because there is a second. In the second resurrection the wicked shall rise to receive their punishment. Here is the text:

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

You see how those who are beheaded for the cause of Christ DO NOT GO TO HEAVEN IMEDIATELY BUT AFTER THE FIRST RESURRECTION! They don't have part in the second death. The second death is the permanent death that only the wicked suffer. The second death belongs to the second resurrection. Six: The Mark Unleashed (666)

The Mark Unleashed 666 - What's True and What's False

I have just viewed this movie. I have seen many of the cast in other inspiring christian movies such as A Second Glance, Late One Night, and other great christian movies. Six: The Mark Unleashed (666) is also fortunate to have Stephen Baldwin and Eric Roberts. I personally believe that these actors are sincere christians. For what other reason would they be doing christian movies rather than trying to be Hollywood stars.

They certainly have the talent. But this blog is not about criticizing or judging others about what they believe. That is God's Work. This Blog is about the analysis of the Biblical perspectives presented in this movie. Some true. But Some False. So to give a just review to this movie I am going to present before you the two sides of the coin. What truth the movie presents and what is deception.

Now I am not saying that these sincere actors are trying to deceive. I am sure that there intentions are to save. But still, we need to be just to the Bible over ourselves and others in a loving way. DECEPTION HAS TO BE UNMASKED! AND THE TRUTH REVEALED.

THE REAL TRUTH ABOUT 'Six: The Mark Unleashed'(666).

You can see part one of the movie as an intro to what we are going to be talking about.





"Truth is beautiful, ....but so are lies" . Is the first quote that is shown at the beginning of the movie. Little do the actors know that this phrase applies to this movie also. There are beautiful truths presented in this movie but these truths are being used to cover up the lies that are also presented. Not done on purpose because the cast is also unfortunately deceived.

The prophetic teachings presented in the movie show that only a superficial study of the Bible has been done by those who are trying to portray last day events. No real exegesis or Biblical proof for any of the prophecies in this movie are presented. It is a dangerous thing to mix truth with error. To Mix the Truth of the Gospel with error in the name of the Bible is dangerous indeed. Why is it dangerous? Because those who here the truth will also think that the error presented is truth.

To not waste your time nor mine with superficial words I am going to get to the point.

I am going to alternate what is Truth in the movie with what is False. The Truth and False Sections are not necessarily related but I am presenting it as it comes to my mind. No time to organize as I would like to.

Truth

In the Future, those who upheld the truth of the Bible will be sentenced to death and even decapitation.

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark (666) upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

False

That the mark of the beast (666) is some bio-chip that is placed under the skin of the hand.

This is totally based on conjecture not a deep study of the scriptures. No where in the Bible says that this mark is a physical mark. The book of Revelation is a spiritual and symbolic book and the Bible says in 1Corinthians 2:14 "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Being a symbolic book, these symbols must be understood symbolically.

Revelation chapter 13:16 & 17:

Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Now understand that those who serve God also recieve a mark. It is called the "Seal of God". It is found in Revelation 7:

Rev 7:2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,

Rev 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

If we say that the Mark of the Beast is literal. Then the Mark or Seal of God is going also to be a "Visible" mark. But this is not true.

The forehead is a symbol of our choice. The seat of the will. It implies that we will have to choose to serve God or Not. That there will be a false teaching that will affect the world and that we will have to decide upon it.

The hand is a symbol of our actions. What we decide with our "foreheads" causes us to act upon it with our "Hand".

Some will be marked in the forehead and others in the hand. Because some willfully take the mark or accept false doctrine and others are forced to go against their conscious. Click Here to find out more about the True Mark of the Beast (666)!

God's enemy church represented as a woman also had something written in her forehead "Rev 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

What is written in the forehead is simply a representation of the character of the person that where is.
